Yet, describing people as “anti-vaxers” makes you automatically think these people are basically just monsters. In reality, anyone who simply QUESTIONS the necessity or safety of any vaccine is rendered a fully invalid, dangerous moron.
THIS is the danger.
Do you know how many people are pro-vaccines BUT also question some of them?? You probably have never heard their voices because most people would rather avoid being automatically deemed sub-human.
I tried to listen to the whole episode, but her snarky laughter after the 1950’s skeptics indicated the host is just against asking questions. Malcolm Gladwell does not snort with derision when he misinterprets complex concepts. He acknowledges he was wrong or confused.
Oh. And her use of detective music just trivializes and cheapens the whole topic.”
