In his hypothetical conversation with a listener he says if they brought me this data point to prove the SEC is down “I’d say ‘I don’t care.’” Really deep thots here and way too back up your strongly held position.
Josh, faced with the most blindingly obvious case of SEC bias, argued - and I paraphrase- it’s not bias but benefit of the doubt. And that given all the success of course they (Alabama and presumably the SEC in general) should get benefit of the doubt. And that’s not the same as SEC bias.
No Josh, our issue (fans from everywhere outside of the SEC) with the FSU snub isn’t that Alabama shouldn’t get the benefit of the doubt. It’s that the snub clearly indicates they get to play by a different set of rules entirely. That’s the undeniable problem.
