Description
Hey poddy fam! Today I got to sit down and chat with Kristy Chong, founder of Modibodi. She saw the need to an alternative to disposable and uncomfortable solutions for periods and incontinence, so set out to create an entirely new solution and revolutionised the category by launching leak-proof underwear. Since then, that one pair has since grown into a whole new category of sustainable, reusable absorbent apparel. Modibodi sales grew from 500K in 2016 to $58M in sales by end 2021 and in 2022, Kristy sold Modibodi to a Swedish company for... wait for it... $140 million dollars! And since then, has shifted her focus to investing in women-led businesses and philanthropy. Kristy is an amazing woman, on an incredible mission. Alright, let's get into it! @modibodi @thelazyceo_podcast
