“Big fan of The Athletic and had high hopes for this podcast.
The first episode lets the guest go a bit too far into hyperbole telling the story. And it’s hard to tell the story of the Saints being “cheated” without the the broader context of the Saints cheating their way to a Super Bowl a few years ago. Poor storytelling. Little depth, minimal reporting. Production quality is high, content quality is just mediocre. Certainly not to the level I would expect from what appears to be the future flagship podcast for The Athletic.”
