We were contacted by Ali one of our listeners asking for an episode on how best to prepare for the Home Economics exam. The test is taking place on the first day of this years Leaving Cert after English Paper 1, so because time is of the essence we thought we would treat you to a special bonus episode. Crossy and Tara were joined in studio by one of the country's most expert Home Economics teachers. Sandra Cleary has been teaching in The Institute of Education since 1991. She also spent two years teaching in the Dublin College of Catering and was assistant to Mairín Uí Chomáin in the R.T.E. cookery series "Cuisine le Mairín". She has contributed articles in the print media since 1993. Sandra is the author of the recently published Leaving Certificate revision book, Rapid Revision Home Economics, part of the Rapid Revision series by Folens.
