Simon has worked in and owned some of Melbourne's most popular venues for over 36 years, notably the Middle Park Hotel, the Beach Hotel, Beaumaris Hotel, Motel nightclub and more recently the Osborne Hotel. Brian and Simon met when Simon played U/19s at Collingwood and then when BT retired from league football, he recruited the young star to the Prahran Football Club. This episode explores Simon’s career in football, one that had him teetering right on the edge of league football for many years, although he wasn’t able to break through at the top level of football, Simon has found great success in the hospitality industry.
