“This podcast makes me pee my pants (just a little, I’ve had three kids) laughing and eying up the UPS guy like he’s a serial killer, all in about one hour! What a combination. Poor guy.
First off, I really appreciate how the celebrity gossip fills me in on what I’ve been missing in the celebrity circle. Hairy armpits, Trump on fire, R. Jelly peeing on minors, how to use Tinder and not get murdered, to name a few. In addition there are little life stories along the way from the hosts, that make me cringe and giggle...listen to the story about the pest control guy if you like embarrassing stories (that you aren’t the focus of). 😬😂
Sara has her friends on, which are all chicks I’d be friends with and I just might start stalking them. (I need more friends). In the more recent episodes, Sara and her husband Jason (I’m going to call him J-dog because it sounds cool) are hosting together. They have this dynamic which just works. If they weren’t married to each other, they would be having an office affair. Ohhh, more gossip! The silliness of Sara and J. Dog are a great combo. Like peanut butter and jelly. Like coffee and almond milk, like butt injections and Kim K.
Now onto the true crime part of the podcast! Gah! The stories are ridiculous! Where Sara finds them, I don’t know but they kept me captivated long enough where I had to sit in the parking lot and be late for my Botox appointment to find out, “who did it.” These are the stories that stay with you for a long, long time!! Like that funnel cake from the State Fair on your thighs, but in a good way. They will make you question all of your life decisions. The next time you look in the mirror, it will make you question yourself, “are you a psycho killer?”
If you’ve read this review all the way through, thank you. FYI, I don’t recommend listening to this podcast while folding laundry, in the car, while ignoring your kids pleading for snacks, despite my title.
The take home lesson is, listen to this podcast or don’t, but listen to it if you like to laugh, gossip (it makes me feel better about myself) and true crime stories that rival Lifetime movies. Extra points if you sip a glass of wine while listening to it and be fancy. Let’s be friends.”
