Bringing Prayer To A Higher Level
I have been praying the Liturgy of the hours for more than 10 years now. I have been using the Divine Office app whenever I feel like praying with someone else. Your podcast gave me another great option. Singing all parts of the Liturgy of the Hours brought my LotH prayer to greater heights. I ponder and meditate deeper when the psalms are sung. What made it even better is the use of Latin prayers. I have now memorized the Glory Be prayer in Latin. Another great component of podcast is the beautiful, angelic voices. It calms my soul and it gives a taste of what heaven might be like. I like more the podcast version than the YouTube version as I don’t get distracted with graphics and moving text. I still use my 4-volume Liturgy of the Hours as I pray with the audio. Thank you for doing this Paul Rose and team. God be praised!

I find this to be a wonderful way to set the tone for the day and to calm my spirit in the evening. The content and the singing are so beautiful. I don’t know where this is actually recorded at, but it makes me feel like I am in a beautiful basilica.

What a great way to start and end the day. Truly beautiful (even though I don't understand the Latin I love it!). I have tried off and on for years to say Lauds and Vespers, and just couldn't get through it. This beautiful rendition just lifts up my heart to God. Thank you for this...Read full review »

I recently lost my voice due to COVID. My love of singing has been stifled during this time. But John’s singing of Lauds and Vespers allows me to join in prayer, even when I must do so silently. Thank you!
