Description
On today’s episode, I am sharing very openly about my past and the decisions that have haunted my memories. I talk about a conversation that Jesse and I had on a road trip about our past relationships, our regrets in those relationships and the embarrassment we feel about our actions. I have been working hard to move past this shame in my life and wanted to bring you guys along for the journey. In this quick episode, I share four biblical ways that you can work in faith through remorse, regret, shame and embarrassment toward healing and joy. I dig into how the Gospel, self-centeredness and people-pleasing can cause us to live in a place of shame rather than in a place of freedom, and how taking our eyes off of ourselves and placing them back on Christ can help to break that bondage.
