Listen now
Description
Our hearts are heavy as we come together to reflect on the devastating event that took place in Nashville yesterday. We are reminded of the fragility of life and the importance of family and community. In the midst of tragedy, it's easy to feel helpless and uncertain about how to move forward. But one thing I wanted to encourage all of you in today is the impact that YOU can have within your home and around your dinner table.  Studies have shown that family meals have a multitude of benefits, including improved communication, better academic performance, and stronger emotional bonds. By spending time together in the kitchen, you are creating opportunities for emotional openness, conversation, questions and self-esteem building.  In today's episode, I wanted to offer a prayer for you to pray around the table with your family in honor of the victims of the Nashville shooting and their loved ones. I pray that this episode will inspire you to make family meals a priority in your own life and to snuggle your loved ones a little more tightly every single day.  Follow along with me on instagram @livingeasywithlindsey.
