Tamar’s insight into art is so interesting and informative, I’ve felt moved by pieces I normally wouldn’t have thought twice about. Like Mark Rothko’s work, which I always dismissively called “the colored squares stuff,” but whose episode made me tear up, it was so beautifully done. Her voice is also lovely, I forget that I’ve never met her. She feels like my friend somehow, and I can’t wait to hear what she comes up with next.

Funny, well-written, well-delivered, and beautifully produced. I wish Tamar Avishai had been my college professor!
