“I listen quite a few actual play Cthulhu podcasts. In my attempt to achieve entertainment vicariously through the voices of the players I typically wish I was younger with less responsibilities and more time. When I discovered the Lovecraft Tapes I had a sense there was something different, something familiar. The type of humor and pop-references during the sessions actually make me laugh out loud. I binged the entire run over a few weeks. Today I finally caught up and figured I’d check out your YouTube channel to see if your voices matched my imagination. Nope; to my astonishment your all old men! That’s when I realized it, the familiarity, the recognizable pop references from two decades ago... I’m an old man too!
