While the general theme of the podcast is Lovecraftian in nature, the unedited quick and amazingly nochalant quips made by every cast member create great tension breaks in grim scenes. Somewhere into the podcast, at the end of each episode, they started recommending things that they have used/played/consumed/viewed in their daily lives that I have to admit have been pretty good, from what I tried so far. The guys do great mock commercials at the start of each episode, which makes me very surprised to hear that they are #StillNotSponsored. All joking aside, really great GM work, and really great investigative work.

Do yourself a favor and give The Lovecraft Tapes a listen. The Keeper is a talented writer and his descriptions and scenes are very compelling and believable.
