Eerie and Extraordinary
This podcast was my first introduction to Call of Cthulhu. And what an introduction! Since I started listening to this podcast, I’ve had the chance to play in a one-shot and use the mechanics I’ve heard in this show, and it was every bit as full of fun and intrigue as it sounded! I loved each of the characters instantly. They are such a mixed group, but each bring a lot to the investigative table. Not to mention, the story! I understand now that CoC revolves around mystery, but mystery as a genre is one of my favorites, so the plot hook snagged me. Then things only get better from there! I find myself trying to figure things out as the story unfolds and holding my breath when the players roll for sanity. It’s fair to say, I’ve been at the edge of my seat in some of these episodes, and that’s made this eerie podcast even more extraordinary!
