Description
Aminata Conteh-Biger is the Founder & CEO of the Aminata Maternal Foundation (“ AMF” ) and works to erradicate maternal mortaliity in her homeland of Sierra Leone.  With the support of UNHCR, Aminata became one of the first Sierra Leonean women to settle in Australia as a refugee. Her immeasurable determination and adaptability, enabled her to strive to forge her own path, and build a successful life in her adopted home of Australia. She is also the author of Rising Heart, and a Special Representative for Australia United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
