Episode 7: The Divine Masculine (Nic Tovey)
Listen now
Description
Nic Tovey is a Psychotherapist, coach, teacher and author and has been supporting men, women, couples and young people for the last 12 years. After humble beginnings growing up in the north of England Nic joined the Royal Navy at 16 in search of adventure and this thing called “manhood”. He then left the military 5 years later to travel the world and pursue adventure on his own terms. Soon after this he experienced a life threatening violent assault and subsequent experience with PTSD and severe depression. This tumultuous time then inspired Nic to embark on a journey of self healing, which eventually took him to do the work he does now. Nic has been especially passionate about supporting men and boys to challenge the old, outdated and often harmful ideas of what it means to “be a man”. He encourages men and boys to discover their authentic expression of manhood free from shame and pretence, and this is the core theme of his new book The (R)Evolutionary Man.  • This is another not-to-be-missed episode of @thelovingpodcast with Genna Chanelle Hayes in support of @topblokesfoundation ✨ • Image by @sarahfountainphotography @onelovefilmsbondi @innkeeperstudios   • •
