It doesn't show up in Europe till the mid 16th century arriving from the New World or India. Indigenous use is well documented in regards to initiation rites, skull trepanation or the drilling of holes in the skull and lycanthropy. Datura is a highly aggressive plant and shows us the darkest recesses of our mind. What else can we learn from this other worldly plant? Tune in to find out more!
