Melanin Medics presents the second conversation of ‘Why I fell in love with Medicine’ Black History Month Podcast series.  We speak to Temitope Fisayo about why he fell in love with medicine. Temitope Fisayo is a final-year medical student at King's College London. He also holds a master's degree from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. His clinical interests include paediatrics, infectious diseases, dermatology, and global health. He is also fascinated by anthropology, sociology, and philosophy. Alongside his studies, he sits on the BMA's Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Advisory Committee.  In this episode, he describes his love for medicine and for literature and the way he views medicine through this lens. We also explore mechanisms that he has found to help sustain his love for medicine throughout medical school and as he prepares to begin his medical career.
