Managing the effects of helicopter parenting
Recently you’ve been talking about raising an emotionally healthy child and this is helpful for me since I have an 11-year old of my own. At work, I am a People Manager where 50% of our workforce now involve the so-called Millenials in their early to mid-20s. I’ve been observing some behavior that may be indicative of them being the products of helicopter parenting. While we can not change their background, how do you think People Managers like myself can be able to influence them to be more independent, accepting and resilient? I do hope this is a topic you can consider in your future episodes. Thank you!

I listen to this podcast everyday when I'm in carline waiting for my children. I am learning a lot and it is inspirational information. Dr. Berney and Dr. Richard make sometimes complex subjects very easy to understand. I highly recommend that you listen to this!Read full review »
