“Update 8/18/2016…
I still appreciate ESPN posting the shows as a podcast given the fact I live in Boston. But there is still too much arguing. Peter Rosenberg brings nothing to the show. It seems like the powers that be feel like there always needs to be a 3rd wheel.
I’d also like to see more diversity on the show. Stephen A blew up when he started on the radio (I believe it was with the Wally and the Keeg show). You’re telling me ESPN can’t find another passionate African American or Latino sports fan?!
I’ve been a listener of 1050 ESPN literally since since day day one. But there are 3 things I can’t stand about the podcast:
1 - Al Leiter. The biggest fraud in NY sports. Hey Don Lagreca remember the iguana?
2 - Too much arguing. I love Michael Kay’s thoughts on sports but perhaps I’m getting older but there’s way too much arguing and yelling on the show.
3 - The audio levels on the intro and outro ARE WAY TOO HIGH!
Other than that I am thankful for the podcast even though there’s been intrusive ads lately. As if ESPN isn’t making enough money from cable subscribers - even from people who don’t watch sports. Look it up - ESPN is the biggest money making cable company in the US.”
