Gone political
I really liked your show and you inspired me. Your latest episode about having a voice which has a great message was delivered poorly by making a political view point. While it is main stream to view our president as racist and that he appeals to racists. Stating this view point in order to not seem to agree with him is by nature a partisan belief. While you may not share this opinion and just wanted to use the anecdotal example, you are making a statement that is more palatable for a certain audience in order to avoid persecution, or your words being taken out of context. But this neglects you’re audience as a whole and puts you in the minds of others who do not share this partisan belief as to be of the opinion of the other side. Which sows discord and polarization. While i understand you are trying to avoid offending people you are playing into the hand of social norms instead of stating your case in a non political way. Now I do understand that certain people will assume and attack just for the fact you mention our president, but this makes you seem weak and you have folded to social pressure, and I have lost a lot of respect for your show because you’ve done this. This is not having a powerful mind. This is promoting conformity. Which you speak against! Thank you for your time and keep up the good work! I hope my review is taken as constructive criticism and not an insult to harden against. My intention here is to speak up against conformity to social norms that are not allowed to be challenged with an opposing view point. Good day.
