Good to have a daily tennis podcast, shame about some of the details
I feel a bit bad leaving a critical review because I do value the daily podcast helping us fans keep up with tennis. However I find the bro-ish energy quite exhausting. I think it’s a bit strange that I’ve never heard an episode with a female co-host. I also wish that host was a little less egocentric. I’ve heard so many anecdotes about his university days. Similarly I don’t need to be reminded on a daily basis that Nicholas Jarry is five days younger than him. I would also appreciate if they made a bit more effort to pronounce non-anglophone names correctly. If there’s time to look up stats on Tennis Abstract (which I find interesting) there’s time to check the pronunciations provided on the WTA and ATP websites. The reason this is 2 rather than 3 stars is that there was one episode where the host gave betting tips, which I found really distasteful. I know that a lot of people bet on tennis but it’s a side of the sport I find very seedy and have no interest in. Again I appreciate the effort put into the show and I hope this feedback is taken as constructive. I found it very amusing that when given feedback about interrupting guests, the host interrupted them just as much but apologised each time.

My favorite tennis podcast out of all the tennis pods I’ve listened to. These guys do a great job cranking out content all the time. @sarahflitz

As Bruce said Two Hearts are Better than one. Two Hearts can get the job done. More duets with Gil and Kane et al. Less soliloquies.
