“The episode with Paige and her family is amazing!! Thank you so much for this. I resonated a lot with it, although I am not as proactive and my family not as accepting but this episode totally explains misophonia and how it affects a misophone and her family and even her community. It also really well explains what misophonia is and what not to do (i.e. shame the person, exposure therapy). Misophonia is not widely understood and if you have misophonia you spend a lot of time either hiding it because it’s weird or explaining what it is and dealing with people’s reactions because they don’t believe you or they think you’re weird or overreacting. I love this podcast because it lets me know I’m not alone. Thank you.”
