Like oil: Useful stuff, needs lots of refining before it’s useful
For every interesting point or worthwhile suggestion, there was 15 minutes of circular anecdote or meandering conversation. The two episodes I listened to, “Capitalise on an endless stream of info,” and “Make sure technology serves you” presented some interesting ideas. The theses, “Curate your information flow by first looking at the writing of great humans and their source material”, and “be wary of tech, have a purpose in mind before you pick up your phone” respectively are relevant to the modern world and have the potential to be the foundation of behaviour recommendations. However, the hosts spend a while getting to the ‘argument’ of each podcast, and therefore miss a valuable opportunity to provide their own ways of tackling the issues or responding to the challenges they just asserted. There’s something here, but the format and presentation needs a lot of work.
