Good content
I appreciate how follow-up adds more depth to the speaker that we wouldn’t have been exposed to as a part of the live audience. It feels nice and intimate and more of the awkward, which is why we came, amiright? Lots of juicy awkward. My only complaint is the beginning that goes “Brought to you by that sinking feeling you had when the school bus pulled up”. Maybe it’s just me, but I find this to come across as…canned. It’s not funny, and certainly not for the 6th time I’ve heard it. Ugh…I tend to skip the 30 seconds or so, because that particular sorry attempt at humor is just pathetic. If you’re going to go with this route, fine, but at least surprise me each week with reminiscings of the terrible years of my adolescence. Surely there’s more than one; that’s the reason why this podcast exists. So please, retire that beginning sentence of the podcast. Edit: Thanks for reminding me of everything I craved to forget in my adolescence (:

And as much as I love the stories themselves, the presentation and format of the show is a bit lame. Too much filler, not...Read full review »
