“I have been a listener to The Motherly Podcast for just over a year and as a new mom I have enjoyed the content and learned a lot until the most recent episode. Expecting to have the question of “how to reverse mom burn-out” answered, it was a thinly veiled feminist attack on conventional mother roles, using vague generalizations and non-specific examples from a woman who is neither a mother nor a certified therapist. In fact, as a mother, I was offended by the idea of being a mother in today’s society could be compared to martyrdom. If the purpose of this podcast is to validate mothers and their role in a family this last guest really missed the mark.”
