Izzi's Pick! This week's episode, the TML Duo discuss the beloved coming of age story, Booksmart. Throughout this episode, Izzi and David compares this female-led to other teen movies of the 80's, 90's and early 2000's and drawing on the movies inspirations. This movie is also the directorial debut of Olivia Wilde, and the duo date on the importance of a female director telling a female led story. Izzi and David also talked about the ever changing landscape of smaller and independent films and why might this film have over looked in the box office. Molly: You don't even care about school.
