Description
Sunny Sweeney is an established Country Music artist who got her start in Austin Texas and has made close to 60 appearances at the Grand Ole Opry. Sunny joins Country Music Made Me to discuss her early trips to the Opry, why she didn't start playing the guitar until after college, and the instant connection she felt to the music and performing once she began songwriting. Sunny and Brendan talk about her musical beginnings playing small clubs in Austin, how her focus on creating music that strikes an emotional chord with listeners hasn't changed ever since the release of her debut album in 2007, and the important moments early in her career that lit a fire that has never burned out. Sunny explains why her latest album "Married Alone" is a true labor of love, and how it feels to finally release the record that has been two and a half years in the making.
