Description
On this episode of the My Little Eater Podcast, I’m so excited to have Dr. Nkeiruka Orajiaka, a board certified pediatrician join me to chat about all things RSV and what to look for if you think your baby has it. With the cold and flu season upon us, now is the perfect time to learn more about what RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) is, what the typical RSV symptoms are, how to prevent it and when to seek medical care. RSV in babies can be very, very dangerous, mostly because unlike adults, their little bodies just aren’t ready to battle the congestion and breathing difficulties that can follow. I’ll be the first to admit, when my boys were young I truly didn’t know the difference between RSV and the common cold, but with all the craziness lately with COVID, it’s so important to be diligent! And that’s why I know this information will be so valuable to all of you! As always, if you find this podcast helps answer your questions about feeding your baby or toddler, please leave a rating and review at Apple Podcasts! I value each and every one of you, and nothing makes me happier than hearing how my podcast impacts you! By leaving a review and rating, your name gets added into a weekly draw for a 15 minute 1-on-1 video session with me, so you can get tailored advice to tackle any feeding problem that pops up. Make sure to leave your Instagram handle, so I can find you if you’re the lucky winner :) ADDITIONAL RESOURCE: If you want more advice to help keep your kids healthy and happy, check out Dr. Orajiaka’s Instagram and blog.
