Description
To: President Joe Biden, on your recent message on March 7th, 2024, commemorating the Holocaust. Dear, Mr. President, Comparing the Holocaust to what happened on October 7th, 2023, when Hamas bombed parts of the Gaza, which Jews occupied, was a pseudo-appeal to association. Nevertheless, what happened to the Jews, must never happen to anyone. Remembering the Holocaust should not just be about Jews, but also about the inhumanity of humans that would cause Hitler to create concentration camps to gas and torture millions of Jews as a way of racial cleansing to create a pure race that is Arian. Racism, colonialism, extremism, ethnic cleansing, and discrimination, still exist in the world today: From Russia's invasion of Ukraine to China's threats of war to re-control Taiwan. Similarly, Palestinians have had to deal with Israel's aggression and domination over the years, who have also objected and rejected the Palestinian state. To many Palestinians, Israel today has created a holocaust experience killing thousands in response to what Israel says is a response to Hamas' recent bombing. However, Israel's response has been magnanimous, as they brace to invade Raffah where many refugees and civilians On October 7, 2023, Hams bombed parts of the Israel-occupied section of #gaza in response to what many Palestinians feel justified about as they fight for independence and nationhood. Israel today is a far more powerful country, with friends such as the US, UK, Canada, and many other post-industrial nations. Mr. Biden to compare October 7, 2023, with the Holocaust, when millions of Palestinians today are under siege by Israel trying to root out Hamas terrorists, was inappropriate and a "question-begging epithet". I discuss this some more on The Neoliberal Round podcast and YouTube channel, plus explore the question of, "how can we reconcile "freedom of expression" and "speech" with "hate speech"? And, "can we legislate on hate and love"? Sincerely, Rev. Renaldo C.
