Surprisingly Bad
In a budding podcast industry that is becoming a new subset of the audio industry this podcast is on one of the lowest rungs of production quality. Which is counterintuitive since it is a podcast about some of the greatest plug-ins that could make it one of the best produced podcast audio quality wise. This is yet another podcast that proves we need an internet steaming/content loudness standard. Most episodes are in a round-table discussion format where level between each person is extremely inconsistent, leaving you turning your output up and down constantly. On top of that there seems to be no editing, and no recording techniques even considered. Productions is also lacking in content. The episodes go on and on with ramblings and inside jokes that only employees of iZotope would get. I expected a commercial whenever I signed up for a audio podcast based on iZotope products, but even that isn't in this as much as you would expect. There really no excuse for hoe bad this is.

More reviews of The New Audio Podcast
There is no excuse today for a podcast interview to have one side of the conversation sound like it's coming through a cup-and-string telephone. This podcast was not listenable for more than a few minutes. I find it remarkable that such an amateur sounding podcast has iZotope's brand name on it.
