Description
The Covid 19 pandemic has built a chasm between us and gender quality. Instances of domestic violence are rising, women's unpaid care is on the rise, and women have lost more jobs as compared to men. This made us pessimistic. But on the occasion of International Women's Day, in celebration of all the advancement of the feminist movement, we had an optimistic conversation with Mr. Eric Falt, Representative South Asia at UNESCO. Eric's organization has become one of world's largest custodians of gender equality. Our conversation on masculinity and the impact of the pandemic, UNESCO's work in response, and global successes around equality gave us hope. Here's our special episode, in collaboration, with UNESCO New Delhi. To all the wonderful women in our lives, HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY!
