Listen now
Description
Publishing her first novel at the age of 17, Ashtyn Newbold's love for telling historical romance stories has never stopped. Her 19th book The Matchmaker's Request will be released this coming January 2022 and will mark the fourth book in her series The Larkhall Letter. She is an alumni of Teen Author Boot Camp (TABC) and knows exactly what you teen writers are going through. While she wrote 18 books based in places around England, she just finally got the chance to visit the country this Fall.  So the question is... Is real life research really necessary for you to write a book about a foreign place? And if not, what is the best way to research, especially when it comes to historical fiction? Ashtyn hops on this podcast episode to give you all her answers. You can find Ashtyn at ashtynnewbold.com and on Instagram @ashtyn_newbold_author.
