Description
On this episode we’re going all in on the true love of skill in the game of basketball. Watching the postseason, skill is display at the highest level. We recognize the best players in the world going at each other with it all on the line. The deciding factor? Supreme skill. As Candice Parker pointed out after the Hawks knocked off the Knicks, when unleashed, skill wins every time.
For Gil, that’s what it’s all about. As we saw with the Lakers coming up short, it wasn’t just about injury, execution or defense, they didn’t have enough skill to succeed. Over in Portland, it’s one thing to have a dominant, ultra-skilled player, but if not surrounded by a skilled enough roster, you don’t have a chance. We all see different things when we watch and study the game, but an examination of winning basketball points out one common thread, you’re not winning without skill.
