Description
"Fear Week" continues on the show as we bring in former Hatebreed guitarist turned Horror News Network writer "Scary" Larry Dwyer to help us break down 'Fear Street Part One: 1994', the first of 3 'Fear Street' films coming to Netflix over 3 weeks in July. We start off with all the production notes like the Netflix acquisition of these films after 20th Century Fox lost them post-Disney merger; then, we break down the 90's homages from the film influences to the grunge era soundtrack; and then we do the full non-spoiler review that answers the burning question: Did it do enough to get us to care about an entire trilogy? (0:00). To wrap up the episode, we dive into our spoiler-filled section for deeper analysis of the film and ask the lingering questions that we want answered as the trilogy moves on to Part 2: 1978 (39:00).
