In this first Ocean Impact Podcast episode recorded with a First Nations owned and operated startup we discuss some of the challenges associated with the flourishing Australian native foods sector where increasing demand is placing pressure on supply chains and the First Nations businesses and communities that are positioned to capitalise on opportunities whilst caring for country and caring for community. Clinton also talks about the future ambitions of Sobah and how, by building a successful beverage business, they plan to initiate broad positive impacts in a range of areas, including: protecting coral reefs and the Daintree Rainforest. Having just closed a successful $1m equity crowdfunding campaign through Birchal, the future is looking bright indeed for this homegrown First Nations led startup.
