“It’s odd to have a Doctor Who podcast where the presenters appear to have not watched much of the classic series. As such, all their allusions to it are off or surface level. It’s a pity because this could have been the perfect bridge for people into the classic series, but they’re lacking in this, and it’s obvious, and disappointing. You could get as much from this as an average Reddit thread or YouTube commentator. I think I was expecting something that would tie it all together… but it’s just people who are only really familiar with NuWho, like every other Doctor Who commentary. What makes this one so special? Nothing really. Wasted opportunity.”
