My new favorite podcast
Hello. I stumbled upon this podcast last week and was immediately hooked. Why listen to tiresome news when amazing topics about organic gardening are a click away? I particularly enjoyed the non dig soil episode. Last fall/winter I covered my little garden with manure and peat moss thinking I was cheating. Now I know the good stuff filters down into the soil beneath with no digging required and is preferred. In my NYC fire escape pots where I had grown blazing sunflowers from seed sadly succumbed to the insurance police. Now I have a little garden in the country for weekend gardening. And a fabulous lawn full of all sorts of broadleaf and other weeds which a Welch friend calls a “lettuce lawn”. Love this podcast!!

More reviews of The Organic Gardening Podcast
Enjoyable escape from the rat race. I find Chris Collins enthusiasm and passion for organic gardening contagious. When I started listening to this podcast I was only toying with the idea of going organic on my new allotment, now I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.

I’ve just started gardening and this is PERFECT if you’re passionate about organic and wildlife gardening. Even vegan gardening! So many tips and answers to questions you didn’t even know you had!

I’ve been gardening for about 20 years but there’s always so much to learn. I’m really keen for my gardening to become more mindfully environmental and I find this podcast encouraging and interesting. Would recommend for anyone interested in gardening.
