Description
Peter Drew is an Artist from Adelaide, Australia.  He’s famous for the street poster campaigns that he has put up all over the country - AUSSIE and REAL AUSTRALIANS SAY WELCOME.  He holds a Masters Degree from the Glasgow School of Art. His artworks have been exhibited at the Art Gallery of South Australia and the National Gallery of Australia, though his most prominent work is installed on city streets. He’s written a book about his life, and the adventures and challenges he’s faced doing the art he does, it’s called Poster Boy and is available wherever you buy books or at peterdrewarts.com An unflinching look at modern Australia, Poster Boy is a tale literally told from the streets. It is a stark story where the villains blend in with those devoted to pushing for change. This book floored me .  This conversation gets quite deep and I am stoked he made the time to chat with me.  If you like what you hear, please let him know @peterdrewarts everywhere.  Enjoy this conversation with Peter Drew.  For information regarding your data privacy, visit acast.com/privacy
