Apple trees are not native to North America
I have a problem with the part of the show advertising apple cider as a means to save the planet or to saving the diversity of apple trees. Pretty much all apple trees in North America are non-native species. I don’t want to get too long winded, but I think there needs to be a little more thought put into what the Sierra Club is promoting. I have been a Sierra Club member for a few years and am always on the fence about whether or not to stay a member. You all do some things right, but seem to be oblivious to a lot of other things...
