Pros and Cons
Love love love the show / the inspiration behind the show, but one of my biggest pet peeves in life is being interrupted and I genuinely get angry for some of the guests! Not only do they get interrupted but when they try to interject and finish their sentence she just speaks louder and over them til they just give up. Being relatable and bringing it back to something you have been through is great - but let them finish their thought before you do so! I started binging from the beginning because I do love it and I’m only about 50 shows in so maybe it gets better in the future, but someone can be in the middle of telling their most vulnerable tragic story and then they just get cut off and talked over and it can be frustrating. Maybe I’m overly sensitive nowadays since I have 3 kids under 4 and can never finish my own thought without being interrupted so maybe I’m triggered easily lol. Overall great concept, love Sarah as a person and her mission and message to the world but Instagram and podcasting are not the same. the podcast is a space to allow others to speak AS WELL, different than speaking to just your phone
