And Joel and Kim are back one final time live from Malaga to round up all the final day’s action from the Palacio de Deportes. Matteo Arnaldi was drafted back in to the Italian team again and came through an up-and-down battle (saving many a break point!) with Alexei Popyrin to put Italy 1-0 up, before Jannik Sinner got Italy across the finish line by demolishing Alex de Minaur for the loss of just 3 games to give Italy their first Davis Cup title in 47 years. Australia finish as runners up for the second year in a row. Joel and Kim chat through the on court action today from Malaga, their experiences of the tournament as a whole, and also look ahead to the 2024 Qualifying draws for both the Davis Cup and the Billie Jean King Cup which were announced today in Malaga. __________________ TENNIS WEEKLY MERCH To browse and purchase from limited edition merchandise designed by Krippa Design go to https://www.etsy.com/shop/TennisWeeklyPodcast  All proceeds go towards the podcast so we can keep doing what we do!  __________________ Tweet us @TennisWeeklyPod or email the show here: [email protected] Follow us on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and make sure to check out our website as well to get your full Tennis Weekly fix. **Please take a moment to rate and review the show on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or wherever you get your pods.
