Description
The plaintiff says one of the defendant’s dogs lifted the latch on her gate with his snout, got into her yard, and attacked her elderly dog. The dog then bit a neighbor, and her dog needed emergency vet care. The defendant won’t pay for it, so she’s suing. The defendant says the dogs aren’t hers, and the plaintiff’s gate wasn’t closed. She claims the plaintiff is just trying to milk her for extra money. The plaintiff says the defendant is her sister and they lived together until they got into a fight. Her sister told the plaintiff she could leave her belongings behind until she found a new place, but then she tossed them all on the street. Items got ruined in the rain, so she’s suing her sister for their value. The defendant says she gave her sister lots of chances to pick up her abandoned things before she tossed them in the garbage. The plaintiff says she met the defendant on a dating app and he owes her money. She’s suing him out of principle. The defendant says the plaintiff stayed with him when she got out of jail, and she agreed to pay him rent. He claims the money she gave him was to cover that.
