“The Blue Cross is such an essential charity. As well as re-homing pets, they offer free vet care to those who can’t afford it and also educate on pet welfare which is so important. How many people do you know who got a pet and couldn’t cope with it because they hadn’t considered what it actually means to commit to taking care of this vulnerable and dependent being for their whole life which can be decades. The Blue Cross needs to be more well known, a household name like Battersea, PDSA and the like! They do such amazing work and is entirely funded by donations and the majority of the people who run it are volunteers.
