Tricorn Cats and Suicide Wine, your guide to Hanging the Triangles
At long last, the most random Photography podcast on the web returns. Anyone who has been following the Art of Photography video podcast, will know that Ted Forbes is great at teaching the practical side of photography. Now the audio show adds Wade Griffith to talk about the business side of being a photographer. They cover promotion, social networking, websites, good work ethic, negotiation, mailing lists, portfolios and there will be lots more to come I’m sure. The format of the show is just a conversation between two friends, talking about what they have tried, what worked, what didn’t. Not so much a definitive guide as a conversation that gets you thinking about what you can do in your own work. This podcast feed contains the 23 original episodes, as well as the new season. If you are new to this one you might want to start with episode 24 (which is a bit more organised). But if you don’t mind a little (okay a lot) of randomness, the other episodes are great too. If you like good advice for the self promoting photographer, interspersed with non sequitur humour, you are looking at the right feed.

It was a great show, it's too bad they abandoned it.

Ted and Wade does and excellent job with the podcast! I love photography but found myself in a rut and was finding it difficult to motivate myself. The info on this show was just the thing I needed to hear and these two guys crack me up. Keep up the good work guys!

The last part of Timothy Leary's acid-based manifesto doesn't quite apply, but what I will say is that this podcast is just as inspirational. Don't do drugs, do photography. In all seriousness, these guys are brilliant.Read full review »
