I wanted to enjoy this more but...
I was excited to start this journey with the hosts as I enjoyed the Picard series’ combination of nostalgic warmth with a mission to boldly go where TNG has yet to explore, uneven as the series was. But by the second episode I had to abandon ship. Listening to Dan’s earnestness and Haddie’s curiousness wasn’t enough to balance out Keith’s exasperated tone. If you’re going to invite listeners along for a ride, doing so with the sound of an audible eye roll isn’t enticing. Next stop, mine.
