Only trust your own heart when reading the Bible?!?
I listened to a few of his episodes, but I will not continue to listen to a man who is promotes living a Christian life in a way that relies on one’s own personal thoughts and decisions. Does he not know that the Bible was compiled (with the Holy Spirt) by humans? The idea of only following our personal interpretation on the Bible and not to trust theology is insane. The main reason (aside from the obvious, God) we have Biblical text IS because of man. If you discard others interpretations of readings you might as well discard the Bible which includes many stories told, with different interpretations, by man. This is why the Gospels will sometimes tell the same story but with a different perspective…. Different perspectives help us to grow in our faith.

The Place We Find Ourselves profoundly speaks to my heart. It’s helped solidify ideas and practices learned in therapy and expanded on them in ways that speak laser-focused on the heart. Great work! Thank you, Adam for creating important content.
