Woke Christian
First off I have to say I really like and appreciate this podcast. But you are inconsistent in your teaching when it comes to racism. In any other case you recommend the traumatized person needs to do the work including recognizing the role the victim played. But when it comes to the racial trauma you advocate for all whites repent for what happened decades ago. If me being white makes me guilty of what the white folks did before 1865 then you and me need to repent for what Hitler. How about lesser crimes serial killers or the petty thief how far do you want to take your woke ideology? Read “Up from Slavery” by Booker T. Washington. He explains a Godly way forward for all humans alike. Thank you for your work and God bless. KAK

More reviews of The Place We Find Ourselves
The Place We Find Ourselves profoundly speaks to my heart. It’s helped solidify ideas and practices learned in therapy and expanded on them in ways that speak laser-focused on the heart. Great work! Thank you, Adam for creating important content.
