Not 100% accurate
Some things are blown to extremes and the beneficial side of being plain is run down! This story may be true for these particular people but for 95% of conservatives they are not experiencing abuse. In the world the level of abuse and bullying is very much higher than in Mennonite circles. If Marc has been abused then face the abuser. Make it public and trust me in conservative circles it will be dealt with!! Been there and seen it with my own eyes. My advice is everyone has a story and not everyone’s is negative to eastern or conservative Mennonite in general. Maybe you should interview some with stories of how the church has helped them!!!

Growing up conservative Mennonite for me was not at all like these stories. My parents were Christ followers and then...Read full review »
