#36 - Join us for a wonderful conversation with Plant Medicine Teacher, Researcher, and Herbal Practitioner Nikki Darrell on plant consciousness and the value of listening to the inspirations we find in Nature. In this episode, Nikki shares wisdom on plant sentience and how people and plants communicate with each other. She also offers helpful insights on the importance of slowing down and noticing the seasons, and how dreaming supports tuning into the inspirations embedded in the Nature council and ecosystems around us. Nikki Darrell is a plant scientist; practitioner of herbal medicine, aromatic medicine, and body work; and founder of the Plant Medicine School. She is also a gardener, educator, campaigner, and author of Conversations with Plants: The Path Back to Nature and Essential Oils: A Concise Manual. She has been working with plants for over four decades as her fascination with the green beings started in early childhood. Her primary teachers are the plants she works with. Nikki holds a Masters in Social and Co-operative Enterprise, which she embarked on due to her love of sustainable community development. She is devoted to the recovery of our societal and cultural connection to the plant beings, our kin in Nature, and bringing herbal medicine back into the center of our communities. Her passion and vocation is as a plantswoman and medicine person, embracing the spiritual life path of Earth Wisdom.
